Centrally located amidst the stunning national parks of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and the Cambrian Mountains, as well as the beautiful West Wales coastline, Little Dolwen is perfectly positioned on the outskirts of the village of Llanwenog, offering a unique and refreshing wild camping experience.
Our five individual pitches are set within six acres of land, dedicated to rewilding, providing a truly 'Back to Basics' and stress-free experience. The land is bordered on two sides by the Cledlyn river and a small stream, with Red Kites and Buzzards soaring overhead, and the occasional Otter crossing from river to stream.
Facilities include a composting toilet and hot shower are available on site, along with a fresh cold water standpipe. Additionally, we offer breakfast baskets and hot evening meals, which can be pre-ordered. Further details are available upon request.
New Quay Harbour Beach is a firm favourite with families. "Walk along Traeth Gwyn at low tide and you'll be following in the footsteps of Dylan Thomas." Aberaeron is another pretty, harbour town, filled with independent shops, craft centres, and cafés. Llangrannog, a naturally beautiful and rugged beach, is popular with surfers. These are just three of the outstanding beaches that make up Cardigan Bay, all located just 25 minutes away by car
Two convenience stores can be found locally in the market town of Llanybydder whilst a Sainsburys and Co-op supermarket can be found in the nearby larger town of Lampeter.
