Pittaford Farm Campsite

Tucked away in the South Hams and just outside Slapton village, this charming small campsite offers an authentic camping and glamping experiences, perfect for reconnecting with nature with family or friends. Set in 50 acres of horse and farmland, Pittaford Farm boasts stunning countryside views, making it an ideal base for exploring the South West Coast Path and the beautiful area of National Landscapes (formerly AONB).

Camping: The camping pitches are dotted around the side of our field and meadow. There is hardcore access for two campervans and a flat area with football goal for children to play on.

Geodesic Dome: This has the wow factor with its cathedral like tent space.

It comfortably sleeps up to five and has its own outdoor kitchen and comfy sofas, offering a more luxurious camping experience.

Shepherd's Hut: Brand new for 2024, our Dingly Dell shepherd's hut offers a chic and stylish retreat, accommodating up to four guests. It features an en-suite for added convenience.

Bell Tent Glamping: Stay in one of our furnished bell tents, with a real bed and comfy mattress, camp cooking station including gas hob and picnic table. Bedding pack are available separately. This is camping made easy.

Facilities: In the old stone pigsty are flushing loos, family sized shower rooms, hot washing up area, fridge, freezers and charging sockets for gadgets. Camp fire-pits on every pitch. Full recycling facilities.

Things To Do: Great for walkers with a bridle path leading from the farm towards Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and Slapton Sands. Walk part of the South West Coast Path with its spectacular coastline. The two mile long Slapton Sands Beach is just a five minute drive away.

In the South Hams there are plenty of other superb beaches and estuaries, great for kayaking, surfing, watersports or day trips. You'll find bike hire nearby, including electric bike hire. For some great local food, The Queens Arms and The Tower Inn are just a 30 minutes walk away or five minute drive.
