Buckland Farm Camping

Our off-grid campsite nestles under the Blackdown Hills in a perfect location for exploring this part of Somerset. There are views of the hills from the site and easy access to local walking, such as Buckland Woods and Quants Moor Nature reserve. These are beautiful ancient woodlands, teaming with wildlife and are part of the Blackdown AONB.

There are plenty of attractions locally if you want to get out and about or if you would rather, relax and unwind with a glass of wine and cook your supper on one of our grill/campfires.

Mown into the meadow we have a created a picnic area with tables and space to play. There is a large bell tent lounge, furnished with comfortable seating and stocked with children's games and an assortment of books and maps. We provide a freezer space and convenient charging stations for phones and small gadgets.

For your canine companions, we offer a dedicated off-lead area where they can frolic, explore, and play. Choose one of our four enclosed pitches where your dogs may roam freely (though we do require them to be on leads when navigating the rest of the site).

New for 2024, we are excited to introduce our glamping bell tent. Thoughtfully furnished and decorated, it offers a cosy retreat. To keep costs down for you, we ask that you bring your own bedding and cooking equipment.

The pitches are spacious with only 15 in total, spread over five acres. The pitches are mown into the longer grass and are around 12 x 14 metres in size and can accommodate large set-ups e.g. extra gazebos/pup tents etc. (there is no extra charge for these).

We have compost loos (six, plus urinals), hot showers, and washing up sinks.
