Cam Bridge Camping

We have kept our campsite small and intimate with just 10 spacious pitches, five of which are designated for campervans. We have two shower and toilet blocks with hot water and great showers. We operate a car free site and have a spacious parking area in our small woodland. Wheel barrows are provided for transporting your tent and essentials the short 50m to your camping pitch.

Site owners Hector & Maggie, aim to provide guests with comfort in nature with a peaceful, secluded camping experience. For when the the weather is against us, we have a small 'rain room' with a fridge, freezer and plug sockets to charge your phones etc.

Our little haven is made up of a small woodland and well-kept meadow. Despite being close to good transport links, we are tucked away and secluded allowing you to enjoy life amongst the trees with mornings full of birdsong. Deer may wander past as you light the fire to toast those marshmallows or make your early morning fry up. We have a communal bbq and seating area and encourage those staying with us to meet new friends and enjoy this beautiful part of the world together.

For those wishing to stretch their legs a little further, nearby excursions include everything from historic city visits to Bath, Wells, Glastonbury and all that Bristol has to offer. We encourage you to leave your car on site, then jump on a bus that stops right outside our gates.

Cam Bridge Camping is a brand new venture for us, and this is the beginning of something we have planned for many years. We operate a forestry, tree surgery and Christmas tree farm business during the Winter and Spring. The logs and kindling available to buy from us are from a sustainable source, all harvested, extracted, hauled and processed by Hector.

Facilities: Toilets, hot showers and washing up sink. Communal bbq and seating area. Sustainably harvested wood from the forestry business, with kindling available to purchase. Only logs bought from us are to be used. Car free environment.
