Plas yn Llangoed Camping

We invite you to join us for an eco-camping experience. Our camping pitches are situated in the front field along with two fixed bell tents. We also have an area to accommodate two campervans (please note, no electric hook ups).

We have outstanding views across the Menai Strait to Snowdonia and beautiful beaches nearby to visit. There is an abundance of wildlife on our doorstep too. You will see the buzzards flying high, hear the woodpeckers drilling for insects, bats flying at dusk and the owls hooting in the evening. At night, the skies are dark so we are the perfect destination to do some star gazing.

Living in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it's important to have as little impact on the environment as possible. We are custodians of the land we are lucky enough to live on and have a responsibility to look after it. Setting up an eco-campsite is our contribution to providing a more environmentally friendly approach to holidaying on the island. We've tried to weave as much of the eco-ethos into the creation of the campsite as possible. One of the things we like to do is repurpose materials. For example, the loos and showers have all been hand-made and built using reclaimed pallets. Many of the facilities that form part of the communal areas have also been made from repurposed materials. We use as many eco-friendly products as possible eg. bamboo toilet rolls and 'Faith in Nature' shower gel, shampoo and washing up liquid.

Facilities: Two hot showers, three flushing loos, three handbasins, two washing up sinks. Eco-toiletries and washing liquid provided. Campers 'Shack' with gas hobs, electricity and USB charging points. Fridge/freezer also available to use. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, with kettle available on gas hobs. Communal firepit. Two charcoal barbecues available to use. On-site cafe serving proper coffee, ice cream and other goodies. Croissants and pain au chocolate available to order fresh in the morning.
