Situated in the rolling countryside between the charming market town of Aberystwyth and the coastal village of Borth, with its vast stretch of sandy beach, Ffosygrafel Isaf Camping offers eight camping pitches and four campervan pitches. It’s a peaceful, nature-filled setting, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
The eco-friendly facilities are hand built to a high standard using many reclaimed materials. Included is a solar shower block, compost toilets and a larch pole roundhouse, which serves as a camp kitchen and meeting space. At the top of the field there is also a communal fire pit for evening gatherings.
Pitches are surrounded by young trees and measure 12 to 15m in diameter providing plenty of room for a couple of tents.
We are surrounded by farmland and our adjacent fields host permaculture gardeners passionate about sustainable food production and knowledge sharing.
Ffosygrafel Isaf is an ideal base for exploring the stunning nearby beaches and mountains. The Wales Coast Path is easily accessible, and we’re right on the edge of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, known for its breathtaking scenery, perfect for hiking or biking. You might also enjoy a visit to the Dyfi Osprey Project, or take a scenic steam train ride to Devil's Bridge. After a day on the beach in Borth, why not unwind at one of the few beachside pubs in Wales?
There are no vehicles on the campsite - please park in the carpark and use the wheelbarrows provided to take what you need to your pitch. The phone signal is poor here but there is a 'phone bench' in the top field where you can get good reception. Firewood can be purchased on site.
