An eco-friendly, riverside meadow campsite in north Wales that offers a low-impact, recreational camping experience. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind and escape from the hustle of everyday life.
North Wales offers some of the best outdoor adventure activities in the world; brilliant beaches, thrilling mountain scenery, fascinating ancient culture and heritage at every turn.
Dolwen Riverside Camping is family-owned and operated; our riverside campsite offers spacious meadow pitches surrounded by peaceful farmland. Our focus is on nature and the environment, and we are proud to be a Greener Camping Club certificated campsite.
All pitches have a picnic table and campfire included. Our site offers hygienic and well-maintained compost toilets, a dual pot wash station and hot showers. Our eco-friendly amenities have been built using local and recycled resources.
Dolwen Riverside Camping is surrounded by a river feeding into the Afon Ystrad, providing a tranquil soundtrack to your stay. Take a paddle or watch quietly for our local wildlife residents, from woodpeckers, kingfishers and kites to farm animals, foxes, and badgers to name but a few. In the summer months you can enjoy the bursts of colour in our wild flower meadow.
The campsite is nestled between active livestock farmland, and therefore, to respect our neighbours, we cannot allow dogs on site.
