Cynefin Eco Camping

Are you looking for an environmentally friendly, off-grid camping experience? Do you want to escape the stresses of modern-day life and have the space to relax around a campfire? Our land is tranquil - and with its woodland glades, old oak trees, wild meadow areas - it is the ideal place for some amazing, stress-free camping in our little bit of paradise.

Cynefin is a 10 acre site with a maximum of 10 pitches. We try very hard to be green and eco-friendly while still offering a comfortable camping experience. We use solar lights, compost toilets, hot showers powered by LPG (gas) and we fully recycle all our waste and upcycle as much as possible.

We provide some on-site activities such as night nature walks, bat detecting, badger watching, moth trapping as well as campfire cooking for children. We have made paths through our woodland for children and adults to explore and investigate the wildlife. There is an area of the woodland specifically for den building with hazel poles and camouflage netting for making shelters.

Carmarthenshire is a county of surprises for many of our campers. Not only do we have some of the best beaches in Wales, we have some of the most beautiful countryside too. One of finest beaches is a seven-minute drive away, Cefn Sidan beach is eight miles of golden sands with Blue Flag status. We have many castles to explore - Kidwelly and Carreg Cennen to name two of the best.
