Quarry Lodge Camping

Quarry Lodge Camping is a charming, family run campsite nestled in the heart of Carmarthenshire. Whether you arrive on foot, bicycle, motorbike, car, caravan, or motorhome, we offer a welcoming space for all. Spread over three distinct areas, our site caters to a variety of camping preferences.

The main field is ideal for caravans and motorhomes, offering both hardstanding and grass pitches with the option of electric hook-ups. It is surrounded by hedgerows, providing shelter for campers and wildlife, while still allowing for views across the Towy Valley.

The Meadow is perfect for tents, with large pitches cut among the long grass, offering privacy. In the woods, we have a wild camping area, accessible only by 4x4 or by loading up our tractor. Surrounded by mature trees, it offers a true back-to-nature experience, providing a real sense of seclusion and escape.

Centrally located in Carmarthenshire, we are within easy reach of The Gower, Brecon Beacons, Tenby, Pembrokeshire and Cardigan, with all the activities they offer. Closer to home, you can explore the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, the Gwili Steam Railway, numerous castles, and the scenic walks of the Carmarthen Fans and Neath waterfalls. There are also country parks, stately homes, and quiet beaches to enjoy. Additionally, we are fortunate to have some fantastic restaurants, independent shops, and artists' trails nearby.

After a busy day of exploring, return to Quarry Lodge for a peaceful evening of birdsong. Watch the red kites and buzzards soaring overhead and enjoy stargazing around the campfire.

Our new toilet and shower block includes two wet rooms (one with disabled facilities), plus additional toilets and showers. There are hot water washing up areas, a kettle, fridge, freezer and USB charging points.
